Children sit 2 papers on the same day, covering Verbal, Mathematical, and Non-verbal skills, and only need to take the test once, no matter how many Buckinghamshire Grammar Schools they apply to.
Royal Latin School
Royal Latin School, a co-educational Grammar School with a sixth form on Chandos Road in Buckingham, has the latest Published Admission Number of 180 places for Year 7. It is the only Grammar School in north Buckinghamshire and operates its own catchment area system, giving priority to children living close to the school.
Aylesbury High School
Aylesbury High School offers 189 places for girls in Year 7 each year. The school uses the county-wide qualifying score of 121 for Grammar School entry.
Buckinghamshire Area
Across Buckinghamshire, children need a standardised score of 121 or above to be considered qualified for a Grammar School place. A score of 121 or above means a child is eligible for Grammar School admission, but it does not guarantee a place. If a school has more qualified applicants than available places, it uses its published oversubscription criteria to determine admissions.

11 Plus Easter Course - Chosen by Buckingham Parents
A Buckingham pupil building test-day confidence:
After hearing positive feedback about our Easter course, one Buckingham family decided it was the right opportunity to give their Year 5 daughter extra support before the September exam. She had been finding it difficult to manage her time during practice papers, particularly when faced with longer Maths problems. Over the 8 sessions, her tutor introduced practical techniques for working more efficiently, encouraging her to approach multi-step questions in a clear, structured way.
A Maids Moreton family targeting Royal Latin School
Through our Easter revision course, a Year 5 boy from Maids Moreton, just outside Buckingham, strengthened Non-Verbal Reasoning, an area his parents felt was weaker than his English and Maths. Small-group teaching let his tutor give direct, repeated practice on pattern and sequence questions, and his parents noted a clear improvement in both accuracy and confidence by the end of the week.
